About Our Foundation

Founded in 1981 as an independent non-profit organization, the Wor-Wic Community College Foundation is managed by volunteers from the community.

The primary purpose of the foundation is to enhance the educational activities of the college. The foundation promotes the programs and activities of the college and provides assistance with funding for scholarships, equipment, programs, professional development, facilities and other areas of need identified by the college's board of trustees. More information about the work of the foundation is available in our latest annual report.

The Wor-Wic Community College Foundation is exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, and gifts to the foundation are tax deductible as provided by law.
