Welcome to Wor-Wic Community College, the educational resource of choice for residents
and businesses on Maryland’s Lower Eastern Shore.
Regardless of your current situation,
Wor-Wic is a great place to start, whether you want to earn a certificate for immediate
entry into the workforce or plan to get a four-year degree.
We offer more than 60 program options in a variety of fields through day, evening,
weekend and online classes year-round that fit into your life. Whether you are coming
to Wor-Wic as a high school student, directly after graduating from high school
or returning after a long absence, we want to make your transition to college life
smooth. You will find many caring and capable faculty members, administrators and
support staff who want to help you succeed -- in college and in life.
We are excited to offer a new occupational therapy assistant program this fall,
thanks to the support of many generous donors. With this new program, you will have
an additional choice in an allied health field. Wor-Wic is now one of only three
colleges in Maryland to offer this program.
In addition to attending class, there are many ways to enhance your student experience
at Wor-Wic. I encourage you to join one or more of our many student organizations,
participate in a service learning project, take a trip or enjoy a live performance.
Make the most of your years at Wor-Wic by taking advantage of all that is available
to you. When you complete your degree at Wor-Wic, we will help you transition to
the workforce or to a four-year institution to continue your education.
Welcome to Wor-Wic. When you start here, you can go anywhere!
