Motorcycle Safety: Basic Rider Course 2 (BRC2)
This six-hour course is for the licensed motorcyclist who wants to improve or refresh his or her skills.
Classes are taught by both Motor Vehicle Administration and Motorcycle Safety Program certified instructors
and held on Wor-Wic Community College Salisbury campus. Individuals enrolling in this course
must have a valid motorcycle (Class “M”) license and provide your license number on your registration
form.
To pass the course, riders must pass a skills test administered at the end of the course. Riders who
pass will receive a Maryland Motorcycle Safety Program Completion Card.
During the initial riding activities, each rider’s ability to operate a motorcycle will be evaluated
by instructors. Riders who cannot demonstrate minimum riding proficiency will not be allowed to continue
and will need to consider enrolling in the Basic Riders Course. Riders who are not allowed to continue
will not be eligible for a refund and will have to pay the tuition and fees to be enrolled in the Basic
Rider Course.
