Introduction to Arc Welding is a 350 - hour course (full time for ten weeks), designed
to provide the entry level welder with the skills necessary to secure employment
in the welding industry. Students will progress from basic arc welding to the welder
qualification test for structural welders. Includes basic safety for welders and
an introduction to hand tools. Develop knowledge to work safely within industry
standards and to recognize and avoid hazards.

Tuition costs are covered by funding provided by the Maryland Energy Administration
