Welding Training

Basic Arc/Fluxed Core Welding is a 455 hour course (full time for 13 weeks), designed to provide the entry level welder with the skills necessary to secure employment in the welding industry. Students will progress from basic arc /flux cored welding to the welder qualification test for structural welders. Includes basic safety for welders and an introduction to hand and power tools. Develop knowledge to work safely within industry standards and to recognize and avoid hazards.

Tuition costs are covered by funding provided by the Maryland Energy Administration and the Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation.

Students must provide personal protective equipment at an estimated cost of $250.
