Off-Campus Testing Procedures

Distance Education students are required to complete proctored examinations in-person. If a student resides outside the tri-county area, students may arrange to complete the required examinations in an official testing center such as a known higher education institution or Sylvan Learning Center. The Consortium of College Testing Centers (CCTC) provides a list of testing centers within the United States and Canada. A student may also contact a college or testing center that is not on this list.

Steps for Off-Campus Testing

It is the student's responsibility to notify the course instructor that he/she will need to have the test proctored outside of Wor-Wic's Testing Center and to find an official testing center close to his/her place of residence.

1. Locate a testing center prior to or within the first week of classes.
2. Complete the Off-Campus Test Request Form and send to your instructor. When approved, your test proctor will be provided with the test administration instructions.
3. Contact the approved testing center and schedule an appointment to take the test.
4. Contact your instructor after completing the test.
