Wor-Wic Community College has been conducting the full cycle of assessment since 2005 to measure both learning and institutional effectiveness at the institution, academic program, service department, and course levels. Assessment serves a valuable role in measuring the extent to which Wor-Wic Community College is fulfilling its mission. In addition the assessment process serves as a tool to improve student learning and college operations and services. The assessment effort is guided by dedicated faculty and staff who serve on two committees: the Assessment Committee and the General Education Assessment Committee. The assessment process at Wor-Wic also ensures the college is continuing to help its students reach their academic, personal and professional goals and serving the needs of the local community.
