Economic Impact Scholarship for Somerset and Wicomico Counties

Would you like to attend college for free?
Both Somerset and Wicomico counties allow new high school graduates and Maryland High School Diploma completers to attend Wor-Wic Community College for free.
To qualify for free tuition and fees, you must have been a resident of the county for two (2) years and have completed all your high school graduation requirements. In order to receive the scholarship, you must register for 12 or more credits per semester and maintain a 2.0 GPA each semester you attend Wor-Wic.
Please note that for Wicomico County only you must also have an annual family income of $75,000 or less.
To be eligible, you must:
- Complete a Wor-Wic Community College Application
- Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA); and
- Complete an Economic Impact Scholarship Application for your county
In addition, you will need to attend an orientation and registration session before classes begin.
Step 1: Complete the Wor-Wic Community College Application online.
