The 25th Annual Echoes & Visions Reading/Reception with Guest Poet Emilia Phillips

Come celebrate the 25th anniversary issue of Echoes & Visions, Wor-Wic's student literary journal, as well as the beginning of the college's 4th Annual Echoes & Visions Reading Series! Student writers will read selections of their published work and free copies of the magazine will be available. Our featured guest will be Emilia Phillips, a rising star in American poetry. 

Emilia Phillips is the author of Signaletics (University of Akron Press, August 2013) and two chapbooks. Her poetry appears in AGNI, Beloit Poetry Journal, Green Mountains Review, Gulf Coast, Hayden’s Ferry Review, Indiana Review, The Journal, The Kenyon Review, Narrative, The Paris-American, Third Coast, and elsewhere. She’s the recipient of the 2012 Poetry Prize from The Journal, selected by G.C. Waldrep; 2nd Place in Narrative’s 2012 30 Below Contest; and fellowships from U.S. Poets in Mexico, Vermont Studio Center, and Virginia Commonwealth University. She serves as the prose editor for 32 Poems and teaches poetry at Gettysburg College as the 2013–2014 Emerging Writer Lecturer.
