Work Experience

RN with 30 years of experience in areas including, but not limited to: Pediatrics, NICU, ICU, Public Health Nursing in the Department of Corrections, as well as experience in environmental and occupational related healthcare. As a past military noncommissioned officer (NCO), the managerial skills gained include: Firmness, fairness, and consistency; qualities needed when required to adapt to ever an ever changing nursing environment.

• Driven to continue improving my knowledge base through continued education; recently completed BSN and currently pursuing, albeit slowly, a MSN.
• Conscientious ensuring high standards of culturally competent care for patients with diverse backgrounds and needs.

Community Services / Committees

Volunteer, schedule permitting, with the International Association of Women Judges; a non-profit, non-governmental organization whose members represent all levels of the judiciary worldwide and share a commitment to equal justice and the rule of law. The IAWJ currently has approximately 5,000 members in 82 countries and areas worldwide.
