Additional Information

I have worked in the hospitality industry for over 20 years; I started with Hyatt Hotel as a bus boy, and worked my way to become the restaurant manager at Marriott.

My teaching career has taken me through many colleges and universities. I have taught both on campus and online.

I started writing a blog on leadership and management, motivation, mentoring and coaching, career management, diversity and inclusive communication. Check it out on, and provide me your feedback or comment at the bottom of the blog. I will really appreciate it.

I enjoy watching soccer, football, doing exercise. I do enjoy reading and writing, watching rerun shows like The Cosby Show, Seinfeld, Everybody Loves Raymond and All in the Family. These shows keep me relaxed and stress less.

I am looking forward to teaching at Wor-Wic Community College, and learning from your experiences as well. Let's go and teach each other what we know and be proud of it! Success abound!

Hearty cheers,

Dr. George Ojie-Ahamiojie
