Education

I received my Bachelor of Science degree at Salisbury State College in 1983 with a dual major in Biology and Education. I then received a Master's degree in Secondary Science Education in 1993 from Salisbury State University.

Work Experience

I have taught in the Wicomico County Board of Education starting at Bennett Junior High/Bennett Middle School from 1983-1993, where my instruction included Life Science, Physical Science and Health. In the Fall of 1993, I transferred to Parkside High School where I taught Biology and Human Anatomy until 2001. After Parkside, I then worked for the Wicomico Board of Education at the NASA Wallops Flight Facility in the Science Education Outreach Program until 2007. Upon coming back to Wicomico County School, I taught at Parkside High School for one year and then started teaching at James M Bennett H S., where I am presently teaching Biology and Human Anatomy.
