New Drug Addiction Series Offered in April

Addiction counselors, nurses, social workers, psychologists, law enforcement personnel and other interested professionals can learn about the methamphetamine epidemic and how to address heroin addictions by taking a new series of courses offered by the continuing education office at Wor-Wic Community College at the college campus on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.

“Methamphetamines: An East Coast Epidemic” will be held on Monday, April 3, and “Dealing With the Heroin Addicted Client” will be held on Tuesday, April 4. Both classes will meet from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
