“The Fabulous Fable Factory” to be held Sept. 11 & 12
August 26, 2009

Parents and their children are invited to see a performance of “The Fabulous Fable Factory,” a one-act play based on the musical version by Joseph Robinette and Thomas Tierney. Performances will be held Friday, Sept. 11, at 7 p.m., and Saturday, Sept. 12, at 1 p.m., in Guerrieri Hall on the campus of Wor-Wic Community College on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.

In the production, a young girl discovers a fable-making factory run by Aloysius A. Aesop. As Aesop’s best-known fables, “The Country Mouse and the City Mouse,” “The Farmer and the Donkeys,” “The Lion and the Mouse,” “The Tortoise and the Hare” and “The Ant and the Grasshopper,” are enacted, the girl discovers her own moral-making ability.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children 12 and under, or $25 per family. Proceeds benefit the Future Educators of America Club at Wor-Wic. Tickets are available at the cashier’s window on the first floor of the Academic and Administrative Building at Wor-Wic or by calling (410) 334-2852.
