Salisbury VFW Post No. 194 Donates $5,500 to McMullen Scholarship at Wor-Wic

The Salisbury Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 194 and the ladies auxiliary recently donated a total of $5,500 to Wor-Wic Community College for the emergency medical services (EMS) scholarship that is being created in memory of Staff Sgt. Michael McMullen. A 2004 EMS graduate of Wor-Wic and a career firefighter/paramedic with the Salisbury Fire Department, McMullen died recently as a result of injuries sustained while serving with the Maryland Army National Guard in Iraq.
