Wor-Wic Registration is May 11

Registration for credit classes being offered this summer and fall at Wor-Wic Community College will be held on Thursday, May 11, from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., at the college campus on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.

Wor-Wic’s first summer session begins May 15. The second summer session begins July 5. Fourteen-week fall semester classes begin Sept. 6. New eight-week classes being offered this fall begin Aug. 19 and Oct. 18.

Registration services include academic counseling to assist anyone interested in attending college who is unsure about how to apply or undecided about a program of study.

Diagnostic assessments, which last more than three hours and cover reading comprehension, English usage and mathematics, are free to anyone interested in applying to Wor-Wic. The diagnostic assessments are required for all new students who do not have a high school diploma or the equivalent, new students who register for six or more credit hours, students who register for an English or mathematics course, students who register beyond 15 cumulative credit hours or students who are currently in high school.

The college is offering more than 100 classes this summer, and more than 400 classes this fall.
