New eBay Web Business Courses Begin in May

Business entrepreneurs can learn the basics of buying, selling and marketing their products online through eBay by taking new courses that are being offered by the continuing education office at Wor-Wic Community College.

“eBay Buying and Selling Basics: Setting Up Your Online Business” is designed to help students get started with online auctions. The course covers topics such as listing items for sale, attracting buyers, determining selling prices, tracking accounts, completing sales and avoiding auction fraud. The class will meet on Tuesdays, May 16-30, from 6 to 9 p.m., at the college’s Berlin-Ocean City Instructional Center in Berlin.

“eBay: Photo and Web Marketing Strategies for Your Business” is designed to help business owners learn to market and attract more attention to their eBay listings using Web page editors and photograph placement techniques. The class will meet on Monday and Wednesday, May 17-24, from 6:15 to 9:15 p.m., at the college campus on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.
