Jail and correctional officers graduate

Twenty-eight jail and correctional officers from Wicomico, Worcester, Somerset and Dorchester counties graduated in the 80th entrance-level class of the Eastern Shore Criminal Justice Academy (ESCJA) operated by Wor-Wic Community College in Salisbury.

Graduation exercises, which were held in Guerrieri Hall on the college campus, featured a commencement address by Captain Earl Warwick of the Eastern Correctional Institution (ECI).

Donald Rollyson Jr., an ESCJA instructor, presided at the ceremony. Awards of excellence were presented by agency representatives.

Graduates included Dorethia R. Carroll, Kenneth E. Lloyd, Cleavon D. Morris, Trent A. Passwaters, Lori A. Steininger and Tyson A. Wilhelmi of the Wicomico County Department of Corrections, Stanley L. Milbourne Sr., Peter J. Mueller and Stephanie L. Switalski of the Worcester County Jail and Detention Center, Briana N. Cottman of the Somerset County Detention Center, Benjamin F. Davis Jr., Bradley W. Elliott, David W. Green, Joseph C. Hambrick, Christopher M. Healey, David C. Hearn, Eric W. Laird, Roland B. Pianka, Tiffany M. Redden, India N. Roderick, Timothy B. Skinner, Johnnie R. Walters, George A. Waters Jr., Tyler M. White and Randall P. Wilkins of the ECI, and Christopher G. Horsman, David D. Kemp and Ronald G. Marvil Jr. of the Dorchester County Detention Center.
