QuickBooks Courses Offered in October

Small business owners, not-for-profit agencies and construction-related contractors can learn how to perform bookkeeping with QuickBooks by taking courses offered by the community and continuing education office at Wor-Wic Community College in Salisbury and Berlin.

Charity organizations, churches, human services, art leagues, educational centers and other not-for-profit agencies can improve their bookkeeping processes by taking “QuickBooks Solutions for Nonprofits,” which is being offered on Mondays, Oct. 9-30, from 6:15 to 9:15 p.m., at the college campus on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.

“QuickBooks – Level I” is designed to help small business owners learn to manage financial accounts, payroll and accounting reports with QuickBooks software. The class will meet on Fridays, Oct. 20 through Nov. 10, from 2 to 5 p.m., at the college’s Berlin-Ocean City Instructional Center in Berlin.

Construction-related contractors, including builders, electricians, plumbers and landscapers can learn to perform bookkeeping using the QuickBooks Pro and Premier Contractor Versions by taking “QuickBooks Solutions for Contractors.” The class will meet on Saturdays, Nov. 4-18, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the college campus in Salisbury.
