The public is invited to attend a showing of the film “Lost in Woonsocket” on Thursday, Jan. 27, at 7 p.m., in Guerrieri Hall at Wor-Wic Community College on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.

Sponsored by the Wor-Wic Christian Community, the film features Normand Cartier, who was homeless and suffering from addiction, as he journeys through treatment, rehabilitation and a fresh start with the family that he was estranged from for 13 years.

Prior to the showing of the film, Rev. Ronald Bell from Salisbury Urban Ministries will speak about the services the ministry provides to the local homeless population.

Tickets, which are $10, will be available at the door or in advance from the college bookstore at Wor-Wic. Proceeds benefit Salisbury Urban Ministries.
