Team Leadership and Managing Generations Seminars to be Held in October

Managers and supervisors can learn to lead work teams and manage generational differences by taking supervision and leadership courses being offered in October by the continuing education office at Wor-Wic Community College.

“Results Driven Leadership for Team Success” is designed to help supervisors learn how to obtain sustainable results from a work team by concentrating on vision, mission, strategy, goals and objectives. The class will meet on Wednesday, Oct. 11, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Learn skills and strategies for managing and motivating four generations of employees, including veterans, baby boomers, gen Xers and nexters, by taking “Managing Today’s Workforce: It’s a Generational Thing.” The class will meet on Friday, Oct. 13, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Both courses will be held at the college campus on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.
