Wor-Wic Registration Jan. 9-11

Registration for spring credit classes at Wor-Wic Community College will be held Jan. 9-11 in the Student Center at the college campus on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury and Jan. 9 at Wor-Wic’s Berlin-Ocean City Instructional Center in Berlin.

Hours of registration in Salisbury are from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 9, and Tuesday, Jan. 10, and from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 11. The Worcester County registration session is from noon to 7 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 9. The spring semester starts Jan. 13 and ends May 1.

Registration services include academic counseling to assist anyone interested in attending college, but who is unsure about how to apply or undecided about a program of study.

Diagnostic assessments, which last more than three hours and cover reading comprehension, English usage and mathematics, are free to anyone interested in applying to Wor-Wic. The diagnostic assessments are required for all new students who do not have a high school diploma or the equivalent, new students who register for six or more credit hours, students who register for an English or mathematics course, students who register beyond 15 cumulative credit hours or students who are currently in high school.

The college is offering almost 400 classes this spring.
