PTK Receives Awards and Recognitions

The Alpha Nu Omicron chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) international honor society at Wor-Wic Community College recently received awards and recognitions at the PTK Middle States Regional Convention in Baltimore.

Out of a total of 77 chapters in the Middle States region, Wor-Wic was one of 21 chapters to receive recognition as a Five Star chapter. The chapter was also one of eight chapters to be recognized as a Gold chapter.

In addition, Heather Guy of Salisbury, vice president of service for the Alpha Nu Omicron chapter at Wor-Wic, and Michelle Digby of Parsonsburg, secretary, each received Hall of Honor chapter officer awards.

Brandon Hudson of Salisbury was one of about 20 students to receive a Hall of Honor member award.
