Jail and correctional officers graduate

Forty-one jail and correctional officers from Wicomico, Worcester, Somerset, Talbot and Caroline counties graduated in the 92nd entrance-level class of the Eastern Shore Criminal Justice Academy (ESCJA) operated by Wor-Wic Community College in Salisbury.

Graduation exercises, which were held in Guerrieri Hall on the college campus, featured a commencement address by Matthew A. Maciarello, Wicomico County State’s Attorney.

Donald Rollyson Jr., assistant director of the ESCJA, and Carl L. Crumbacker Sr., ESCJA coordinator, presided at the ceremony. Awards of excellence were presented by agency representatives.

Graduates included Christopher E. Condos, Joshua D. Foster, Christina L. Furniss, LeTasha T. Harmon, Edward L. Holland and Courtney J. Hutt of the Wicomico County Department of Corrections, Jack K. Moyer III, Duvon O. Purnell and Joshua T. Tyndall of the Worcester County Jail and Detention Center, Robert M. Luckett of the Ocean City Police Department, James M. Cross and Lonnie R. Gale of the Somerset County Detention Center, Jonathon W. Hill of Maryland Correctional Enterprises at the Eastern Correctional Institution (ECI), Erin L. Burfield, Robert W. Cook II, Michael W. Cooper, Christina R. Copeland, Shawn T. Deen, David A. DuBois, Joshua D. Jones, Teresa J. Jones, Tyneshia L. Kellam, Justin R. Kelly, Brandon C. Kitching, Yvette D. Kovner, Hannah M. Krouse, Shawn R.
