Computer Courses Start Soon

Learn new or update existing bookkeeping, database, e-mail and note organizing skills by taking courses being offered by Wor-Wic Community College at the college campus on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.

“Microsoft Access Seminar” is designed to help students become more familiar with this data management software by practicing formatting, design, analysis, sort, query, saving, printing, and adding and deleting records. The class will meet on Friday, Oct. 14, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Discover how to use the organization and communication features of Microsoft Outlook, including contacts, tasks, notes, scheduling appointments, “to do” lists and e-mail basics, by taking the “Microsoft Outlook Seminar.” This class will meet on Tuesday, Oct. 18, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Learn to organize, insert Web page information and images and reuse your personal and project notes in an effective way by taking “Microsoft OneNote: The Ultimate Note Organizer.” The class will meet on Friday, Oct. 21, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

“QuickBooks Solutions for Contractors” is designed to help construction-related contractors, including builders, electricians, plumbers and landscapers, learn how to perform bookkeeping with the QuickBooks Pro and Premier Contractor version. The class will meet on Saturdays, Oct. 29 through Nov. 12, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
