Dyer and Smith Join Wor-Wic

Wor-Wic Community College recently welcomed two new administrators, Nikki Allen Dyer of Salisbury and Tricia Garvey Smith of Willards.

Dyer was selected to fill the director of student retention position. Prior to joining Wor-Wic, she was the student access center coordinator at J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College in Richmond, Va. Dyer received an associate degree in liberal arts from J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College, a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Richmond (Va.) and a master’s degree in higher education administration from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Va.

Smith is the new director of student activities. She worked for the Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC) in Baltimore for 10 years, where she held positions as admissions counselor, associate coordinator of student activities, and coordinator of orientation and the freshman year program. After moving to the Eastern Shore, Smith worked as a real estate appraiser trainee at Coastal Appraisals in Berlin. She received an associate degree in general studies from the CCBC, a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Salisbury University and a master’s degree in counseling psychology from Towson University in Baltimore.
