Fall Credit Registration Continues Through Aug. 31

Regular registration for fall credit classes at Wor-Wic Community College will be held Aug. 29-31 at the college campus in Salisbury and Aug. 29 at the college’s Berlin-Ocean City Instructional Center in Berlin.

Hours of registration are from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday, Aug. 29 and 30, and from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 31. Registration in Berlin is from noon to 7 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 29. More than 400 credit classes are being offered during the fall semester, which begins Sept. 7 and ends Dec. 17.

Early registration is being extended this summer so that current and new students can register any day through the month of August at the college campus in Salisbury. Students can make an appointment to register with their advisors or they can register in the student services office in Room 109 of the Academic and Administrative Building. New hours of operation for the student services office are Monday and Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Credit classes can lead to an associate degree or certificate of proficiency in accounting, business, chemical dependency counseling, computer studies, construction engineering technology, criminal justice, education, electronics, emergency medical services, general studies, hotel-motel-restaurant management, manufacturing, nursing, office technology or radiologic technology.

In addition to the major subject areas, classes are offered in art, biology, computer-aided drafting, chemistry, economics, English, environmental science, geography, history, mathematics, music, philosophy, physical science, political science, psychology, sociology, speech, Spanish and technology.
