Wor-Wic Community College recently welcomed Sandra March of Salisbury as director of its new on-campus child development center.

The public is invited to meet March and her staff at dedication ceremonies for the Jordan Center on Thursday, Aug. 24, at 3 p.m. Any students or area residents interested in child care services can also pick up enrollment packets and tour the facility.

Before joining Wor-Wic, March was the director and a teacher at the Open Hands Christian Academy in Temple Hills, Md., for more than 10 years. She was also a substitute teacher for Prince George’s County Public Schools and the Wicomico County Board of Education.

She has a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from California State University of Pennsylvania and a master’s degree in business management from National-Louis University in McLean, Va.

March and her husband, an international missionary in Santo Domingo, Haiti, have three sons.
