New Online Business Courses Begin May 18

Wor-Wic Community College is offering new online business courses beginning May 18.

“Manufacturing Fundamentals” is designed to help students learn about production design and materials, process planning, product development concepts, and how performance measurements and standardization can improve manufacturing operations.

Production managers, finance directors, contractors and owners can learn ways to improve their business skills and design an efficient business operation by taking “Successful Construction Business Management.”

“Purchasing Fundamentals” is designed to help students define internal customer needs, generate purchase requisitions and orders, maintain records, create and manage budgets, and expedite, trace and receive supplier deliveries.

Managers can learn skills to develop production, sales and capacity plans, to plan, implement and control daily manufacturing schedules, and to better understand customer demand forecasting and production activity control by taking “Supply Chain Management Fundamentals.”

Each course begins on Wednesday, May 18, and can be completed in six weeks.
