August 09, 2006

The public is invited to a free career services and admissions information night on Wednesday, Aug. 23, at 6:30 p.m., in Room 105 of Henson Hall at Wor-Wic Community College on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.

Administrators and faculty members will present information on career services, admissions, registration and occupational credit programs at Wor-Wic. The presenters will be available for one-on-one discussions after the presentation. Literature will also be provided.

Registration services include academic counseling to assist anyone interested in attending college who is unsure about how to apply or undecided about a program of study.

Wor-Wic offers a variety of career services for anyone in the community, for credit and continuing education students, as well as for alumni and area employers. The free services offered at Wor-Wic include individual vocational counseling, a resource library, access to various computerized occupational information delivery systems, workshops, an annual career fair, resumé and cover letter writing, interview preparation, job search skills and one-on-one job placement counseling.
