Mirlohi Joins Wor-Wic

Wor-Wic Community College recently welcomed S. Jamal Mirlohi of Salisbury as instructor of electronic engineering technology.

Mirlohi earned his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering technology from Western Kentucky University and his master’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Louisville.

He has eight years of experience as an electronic engineer at Arcata Associates and the Computer Science Corp. through NASA in Wallops Island, Va. He has been a part-time instructor at Wor-Wic since 2003, and also taught at New River Community College in Dublin, Va.

Mirlohi and his wife, Azita Aryan, have a four-year-old daughter and a seven-month-old son.
