Child Motor Skills Course Begins March 5

Learn more about the stages of child development, from uncoordinated grasping and self-feeding efforts to preschooler writing attempts by taking “Fine Motor Skill Development in the Young Child,” which is being offered by Wor-Wic Community College at the college campus on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury. The class will meet on Saturday, March 5, from 9 a.m. to noon.

The course will be taught by Ellen Hagis of Severna Park, Md. She has more than 20 years of experience in early childhood education and 10 years of experience teaching adult education courses at several Maryland community colleges. Hagis received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland College Park and her master’s degree from Towson State University.
