Communications in the Workplace Course Begins Feb. 25

Gain a better understanding of the different ways people communicate and learn to resolve conflicts and disagreements by taking “Communication in the Workplace,” which is being offered by Wor-Wic Community College at the college campus on the corner of Route 50 and Waslton Switch Road in Salisbury. The class will meet on Friday, Feb. 25, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The course will be taught by Kathryn Adkins of Salisbury, a licensed clinical professional counselor who operates a private counseling practice for individuals and families in Salisbury. For more than 20 years, she has provided workshops, training and lectures for businesses, schools and organizations. Adkins received her bachelor’s degree from Davidson (N.C.) College, and her master’s degree from Harvard University in Cambridge, Mass.
