New Spanish for Hotel Staff Course Begins March 1 in Ocean City

Hotel and motel employees who supervise Spanish-speaking workers can learn career-specific Spanish verbal communication by taking “Spanish for Hotel and Motel Staff,” which is being offered by Wor-Wic Community College at the Comfort Inn Gold Coast Mall in Ocean City. The class will meet on Tuesdays, March 1-29, from 5 to 7:30 p.m.

The course will be taught by Martha Acevedo of Salisbury, an interpreter and language instructor. She is a native of Bogotá, Columbia, and is fluent in English and Spanish. Acevedo received two bachelor’s degrees, one from the Universidad de Bogotá Jorge Tadeo Lozano in Columbia and the other from the University of Georgia in Athens.
