New Critical Areas Course Beings Feb. 4 in Berlin

Learn about land use designations, buffer management, critical area maps and the difference between developed and conservation areas by taking “Atlantic Coastal Bays Critical Area Overview for Real Estate Agents and Brokers,” which is being offered by Wor-Wic Community College at the college’s Berlin-Ocean City Instructional Center in Berlin. The class will meet on Friday, Feb. 4, from 9 a.m. to noon.

The course will be taught by Stacey Weisner of Salisbury, a planner with the Worcester County Development Review and Permitting Department in Snow Hill. She has more than 20 years of experience in AutoCAD and surveying and has her State of Maryland Erosion and Sediment Control certification. Weisner also has a bachelor’s degree in geography from Salisbury University.
