Supervision and Leadership Courses Offered in November

Managers and supervisors can learn about performance appraisals, coaching strategies and dealing with difficult employees by taking supervision and leadership seminars being offered in November by the continuing education office at Wor-Wic Community College at the college campus on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.

Learn about appraisal methods, fair promotions, developing employee career plans, coaching techniques and termination requirements by taking “Improving Employee Performance,” which will meet on Friday, Nov. 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Discover strategies for coaching and methods for assessing employee strengths and opportunities by taking “Coaching Skills for Supervisory Success,” which will meet on Wednesday, Nov. 15, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Learn proactive facilitation and positive communication skills to help deal effectively with problem employees by taking “Working with Difficult Employees: Common Problems – Creative Solutions,” which will meet on Tuesday, Nov. 28, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
