New Excel Courses Begin Nov. 29 and 30

Learn more about Microsoft Excel features that enable users to manage lists and create charts, graphs and pivot tables by taking new courses that are being offered in November by the continuing education office at Wor-Wic Community College.

The “Microsoft Excel – List Management and Pivot Tables” course will cover how to freeze rows and columns, find and replace values, sort and filter data, apply conditional formatting, create subtotals and summarize data using the PivotTable and PivotChart Wizard. The class will meet on Wednesday and Friday, Nov. 29 and Dec. 1, from 2 to 5 p.m., at the college campus on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.

“Microsoft Excel – Creating Charts and Graphs” is designed to help students learn how to create customized charts using the Chart Wizard feature, and editing and formatting commands. The class will meet on Thursdays, Nov. 30 and Dec. 7, from 6 to 9 p.m., at the college’s Berlin-Ocean City Instructional Center in Berlin.
