Microsoft Office Seminars Begin Oct. 10

Gain a better understanding of Microsoft Access, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint by taking Microsoft Office seminars that are being offered by the continuing education office at Wor-Wic Community College on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.

Learn to create, edit, save and retrieve worksheets, write formulas and format data by taking “Microsoft Excel,” which is being offered on Friday, Oct. 10, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Discover how to create and edit database tables and forms and execute basic sorts and reports by taking “Microsoft Access,” which is being offered on Friday, Oct. 17, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Learn to create PowerPoint slide presentations with text, sound, animation and transition effects by taking “Microsoft PowerPoint,” which is being offered on Friday, Oct. 24, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Develop a better understanding of creating folders and contact lists and sorting, moving, forwarding and deleting e-mail quickly, by taking “Microsoft Outlook,” which is being offered on two Fridays, Oct. 31 and Nov. 7, from 1 to 4 p.m.
