Supervision and Leadership Certificate Courses Begin Feb. 7
December 08, 2003

Individuals interested in a management or supervisory position can increase their chances for employment by completing 100 hours of non-credit courses leading to a continuing education certificate in supervision and leadership from Wor-Wic Community College.

Students interested in earning the certificate have up to three years to complete a required 12-hour course called “Supervision and Leadership Techniques for Personal and Professional Success” and 88 additional hours of course work in five areas: supervisory skills, planning and organizational systems, professional development, marketing and technology. Each area has a specified minimum number of hours, but students can select from a variety of courses offered within each category.

The required course is scheduled to be held this winter, on three Saturdays, Feb. 7-21, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the college campus on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.
