Lead Paint and Mold Remediation Courses Begin March 10

Continuing education courses in lead paint abatement and mold remediation training are being offered this spring at Wor-Wic Community College on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.

Home and rental property contractors and workers can gain a better understanding of the requirements of the Maryland lead and rental property regulations of House Bill 760 by
Taking “Lead Paint Abatement Worker Training.” The class will meet on Wednesday, March 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

“Lead Paint Maintenance and Repainting Supervisor Training” is being offered on Wednesday and Thursday, March 10 and 11, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Learn about the sources and conditions conducive to mold generation, health effects, worker protection and mold remediation techniques by taking “Mold Remediation Supervisor Training.” The class will meet Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, March 29-31, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
