Online Certification Preparation Courses Begin March 17

Wor-Wic Community College is offering a series of online certification preparation courses designed to prepare students for computer industry certification examinations. Courses are being offered in the Computer Technology Industry Association’s (CompTIA) A+, Network +, Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).

The series of A+ courses includes “Basic A+ Certification: Hardware I,” “Intermediate A+ Certification: Operating Systems” and “Advanced A+ Certification: Hardware/Operating Systems II.”

“Network +” is a course designed for students interested in becoming network technicians.

A series of seven MCSE courses can prepare students for the four core examinations and three elective examinations in the Windows 2000 MCSE track.

The CCNA three-course series covers networking, Internet, hardware, software and network switches as they relate to Cisco networks and routing.

Each course begins on Wednesday, March 17, and can be completed in six weeks.
