Wor-Wic Students Inducted into PTK

p>Thirty-eight Wor-Wic Community College students were inducted into the Alpha Nu Omicron chapter of Phi Theta Kappa during a recent induction ceremony held at the college campus on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.

The new chapter members include Enid Bennett, Ryan Chase, Kelly Greene-Wallace, NaRochelle Hammond, Sheryl Johnson, Nicole Jones, Laura Link, Tamar McCollum, Raymond Menzel, Andrew Miller, Anne Morris, Jessica Thompson and Catherine Tingle of Salisbury, Ronald DuPont, Michael Mason and Stephanie Nichols of Fruitland, Lea VanBuskirk and Christina Vickers of Hebron, Anna Beardsley of Nanticoke, Margaret Riall of Parsonsburg, Shelley Timmons of Pittsville, Everett Landon of Sharptown, Deborah Favre, Sarah Kee and Varuva Purnell of Berlin, Angela Froman of Bishopville, Dawn Leonard of Newark, Muriel Marshall of Pocomoke City, Sharon Mills of Snow Hill, Warren Willey of Crisfield, Jennifer Eckroade of Eden, Allison Ciszewski of Princess Anne, Roie Cordrey of Upper Fairmount, Kelly Hancock and Cathy Lucas of Westover, Sydney Brooks of Cambridge, Teresa Nichols of Preston and Brenda Zonko of Delmar, Del.

Advisors of the chapter include Patricia D. Selig, human services department head and assistant professor of social science, Denise D. Marshall, nursing department head and professor of nursing, Lucille A. Rudnick, professor of nursing, Colleen C. Dallam, assistant professor of history, and Deborah E. Jenkins, director of financial aid.

Phi Theta Kappa is a nationally-recognized honor society serving America's two-year colleges. The Alpha Nu Omicron chapter was chartered at Wor-Wic in September of 1987.
