Business Courses Offered

Supervisors, managers and team leaders can learn skills to improve project management and leadership by taking business courses that are being offered by Wor-Wic Community College at the college campus on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.

Learn how to manage various types of projects using a five-step process for planning, monitoring and controlling any project by taking “Practical Project Management Applications.” The class will meet on Tuesday, May 4, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Develop the tools necessary to manage and lead others, including delegation, positive motivation, time management, overcoming negativity and transitioning, by taking “Basic Supervisory Skills.” The class will meet on Monday and Wednesday, May 17 and 19, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Learn to maintain composure under pressure and confidence in yourself as a leader by taking “Positive Strategies for Leadership Success.” The class will meet on Thursday, May 20, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
