Health Careers Information Night Scheduled for May 12

Anyone interested in a health care career is invited to a free health careers information night on Wednesday, May 12, at 7 p.m., in Room 105 of Henson Hall at Wor-Wic Community College on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.

Information will be provided on credit programs in emergency medical services, nursing and radiologic technology offered by Wor-Wic, as well as the surgical technology program offered by Chesapeake College in the interactive television classroom at Wor-Wic.

Denise D. Marshall, nursing department head, Andrew P. Woodward, radiologic technology department head, Daniel R. Webster Jr., assistant instructor of emergency medical services, and Richard C. Webster, director of admissions, will be on hand to answer questions.

Officials from Peninsula Regional Medical Center, Atlantic General Hospital and the Berlin Nursing & Rehabilitation Center will discuss opportunities they offer for Wor-Wic students.
