Wor-Wic Receives NCMPR Award
May 11, 2004

Wor-Wic Community College recently received a gold paragon award from the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR) for its 2003-04 college catalog.

Wor-Wic’s academic catalog won first place in Division A, which includes colleges with fewer than three full-time equivalent professionals working in marketing, public relations and publications.

The paragon awards competition is the only national competition that exclusively recognizes marketing and public relations professionals at two-year colleges. This year, 40 judges reviewed more than 1,500 entries in almost 50 categories.

In addition to being announced at the 30th Annual NCMPR conference in Baltimore, the winning entries are showcased at national conferences of the American Association of Community Colleges, and an awards brochure is distributed to community colleges nationwide.
