October 08, 2004

Online courses in project management fundamentals, applications, certification preparation and e-speed are being offered this fall by Wor-Wic Community College.

“Project Management Fundamentals” is designed to help students discover and master the critical concepts needed to plan, implement, control and close any type of project.

“Project Management Applications” is designed to help students gain experience with project planning, control and data analysis tools in order to develop a motivated project team that is able to accomplish objectives on time and within budget.

Learn to manage projects while facing the challenges of time constraints, short-staffed teams, small budgets and typical risks by taking “Project Management @ e-Speed.”

Learn how to use project-based management techniques to develop a project plan, monitor and control the project, and deliver quality results by taking “Managing Technology.”

Students can prepare to take the Project Management Institute’s internationally-recognized Project Management Professional certification examination by taking “PMP Certification Prep I & II.” Learn about the nine project management knowledge areas, five process groups and 39 project management processes covered in “A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge,” which is required for both courses.

Each course begins on Wednesday, Nov. 10, and can be completed in six weeks.
