Eastern Shore and Country Floristry Courses Offered this Fall

Anyone interested in employment in the floral design industry can benefit from taking floristry courses that are being offered this fall by the community and continuing education office at Wor-Wic Community College.

“Floral Design: Eastern Shore Creations” is designed to help students learn to use silk and dried flowers and natural decorations to create arrangements with seashore and farm themes. The class will meet on Wednesdays, Sept. 27 through Oct. 18, from 6:30 to 9 p.m., at Parkside High School in Salisbury.

“Floral Design: Country Arrangements” is designed to help students discover ways to use dried materials, ribbons and accessories to create door swags, wall hangings, wreaths and basket creations. The class will meet on Tuesdays, Oct 3-24, from 6:30 to 9 p.m., at Stephen Decatur High School in Berlin.
