Family and Community Relations Course Begins Jan. 18

Learn about the benefits for children, parents and teachers when everyone works together constructively by taking “Family and Community Relations,” a 14-week early childhood education course being offered by Wor-Wic Community College, which can be taken for college credit or as a non-credit course. The class will meet on Thursdays, Jan. 18 through April 26, from 6:30 to 9:45 p.m., at the college campus on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.

The course will cover techniques to help parents, teachers and the community use and coordinate their resources. Learn how to provide an environment that promotes growth and supports the development of self-esteem in children to enhance the learning process.
