Small business owners and not-for-profit agencies can learn how to perform bookkeeping with QuickBooks by taking courses being offered in February by the continuing education division at Wor-Wic Community College.

“QuickBooks – Level I” is designed to help students learn how to set up payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable, as well as generate standard accounting reports. Another section of this course will be held on Fridays, Feb. 23 through March 16, from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m., at the college’s Berlin-Ocean City Instructional Center in Berlin.

Charity organizations, churches, human services, art leagues, educational centers and other not-for-profit agencies can improve bookkeeping processes by taking “QuickBooks Solutions for Nonprofits.” The class will meet on Mondays, Feb. 12 through March 5, from 6:15 to 9:15 p.m., at the college campus.
