Culinary Skills Course Begins Feb. 21

Anyone interested in entry-level employment in the food service industry can learn basic food preparation skills and fundamentals for commercial operations by taking a hands-on course called “Culinary Skills – Level I,” which is being offered by the continuing education division at Wor-Wic Community College. The class will meet on Wednesdays, Feb. 21 through March 28, from 6-9 p.m., at Parkside High School in Salisbury.

Kitchen and knife safety, food preparation and cooking procedures are some of the topics covered in this course.
