Job Fair to be Held March 22 at Wor-Wic

The public is invited to attend a free job fair being offered by the career services office at Wor-Wic Community College. It will be held on Thursday, March 22, from 2 to 6 p.m., in the Student Center at the college campus on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.

About 40 employers from different industries, including hospitality and tourism, health care, law enforcement, construction, food distribution, accounting and telecommunications, will be attending the fair.

Participants should come dressed in interview attire and have resumés to give to interested employers.

Anyone interested in attending the job fair who needs help preparing a resumé or writing a cover letter can get free assistance from the career services office at Wor-Wic.

Free career services offered at Wor-Wic also include individual vocational counseling, a resource library, access to various computerized occupational information, workshops, interview preparation, job search skills and one-on-one job placement counseling. These services are available for anyone in the community, for credit and continuing education students, as well as for alumni and area employers.
